Start Building this Summer with ibrick

At the City of STEM - L.A. MakerFaire, showcasing hands-on STEM learning

June 3, 2025 Los Angeles, CA, USA

I'm proud of my son Connor who was my co-facilitator for ibrick at the 2025 City of STEM - L.A. MakerFaire. He is graduating High School a year early, today! Both of my sons have chosen to pursue STEM careers and I believe this is, in part, due to the exposure they had to making, inventing, and creating as they were growing up.

Watching Connor work alongside me at the MakerFaire was a testament to the power of hands-on STEM education. His enthusiasm for problem-solving and creative thinking didn't happen overnight – it was cultivated through years of exploration, experimentation, and most importantly, play-based learning that sparked genuine curiosity.

As a parent, there's nothing more rewarding than seeing your children develop a passion for learning and discovery. The journey from curious child to confident young adult pursuing STEM is one that can be nurtured through the right opportunities and experiences.

I'm excited to announce an opportunity for you to introduce ibrick, an innovative STEM education subscription, to a child you know this summer. ibrick's educational STEM lessons provide a valuable partnership for parents, home-schoolers, educators, and organizations looking to guide children further in their educational journey. Our hands-on activities are designed by engineers with different developmental levels in mind, offering three levels tailored for ages 5-6, 7-8, and 9-12.

The beauty of ibrick lies in its ability to make complex STEM concepts accessible and engaging through creative building challenges. Each weekly lesson is carefully crafted to build critical thinking skills while maintaining the joy and wonder that keeps children engaged while providing guidance to keep the exploration at a level appropriate for their level of development. The formula is: Fun + Inquiry + the right materials = Growth!

Whether you're a parent looking to supplement your child's education, an educator seeking engaging classroom resources, or an organization committed to youth development, ibrick offers a structured yet flexible approach to STEM learning that grows with the engineer-in-training.
