Give Me Five: A Virtual Mini Field Trip
This past Fall we enjoyed a virtual trip to the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge. This was part of our going deeper into Pop's Bridge by Eve Bunting. A tool like Google Earth can be a powerful one in the hands of inquiring young minds, but teachers and other adults need to lead the way. Much akin to bus drivers and chaperones in "real" field trips, we act as co-inquiring guides.
