Go Book-Cart

A few years ago my sister gave our family a hot chocolate set of mugs, serving trays and signs that "needed" a rustic serving cart. I put some pallets together, added wheels and lights and voila, we had a fun but functional patio serving stand.

Then, in the light of a new year and new needs, I transformed the hot chocolate stand into a lighted drink counter. It added a little ambiance and took on the task with gusto.

Now with the advent of the great virus pandemic of 2020 the little ol' counter cart has become the Neighborhood Book-Cart. With help from my shelter-at-home children it was painted bright colors (the ones I had left over in the paint shed). With help from Leslie it got some nice lettering. And with the help of some other members of our church community it will be out in front of one of our homes with books to share with the neighbors.

We finished painting the cart so got to work on the new shop doors.

Donations so far getting settled on the cart
